At 07:00hrs, guests will be collected from their hotel's reception area and transported to Mukuni village for a guided tour. During this tour, you will have the opportunity to visit each household and engage with the village elders. After exploring the village, you will be taken to the Livingstone museum, which houses an extensive library detailing the history, traditions, and culture of the Zambian people as a whole. A knowledgeable museum guide will provide a comprehensive tour and explanation of the exhibits. Following the museum visit, you will proceed to the Mukuni craft village to witness local craftsmanship and learn about cultural expressions conveyed through woodworking.
Upon completing the Mukuni craft market visit, you will head to the local food market, where you can gain an appreciation for Zambian dietary preferences influenced by various cultures. Subsequently, you will embark on a guided tour of the Victoria Falls.
Victoria Falls, the largest and most renowned waterfall in Zambia, spans nearly 2 kilometers in width and plunges 103 meters in depth. It is not only one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World but also a designated World Heritage site. During its peak flow, which occurs after the rainy season, it presents a mesmerizing spectacle, with approximately 550,000 cubic meters of water rushing over the precipice per second. Our guides will share historical and traditional insights about this extraordinary natural wonder.
At 15:00 hrs, guests will be collected from their accommodations and transported to the park. Along the way, our guide will handle the park entry fees. Before the tour commences, a brief orientation will be provided at the park gate, covering the dos and don'ts of the park. Guests will have the opportunity to partake in two activities: a game drive and a walking safari. The game drive, lasting 2 hours, will be conducted on open safari vehicles. Subsequently, you will embark on a walking safari under the supervision of a game ranger and our guide. This safari will involve tracking the Wide Mouthed Rhinos, a park highlight. Guests will have the privilege of approaching the Rhinos closely for enhanced viewing and photography opportunities.
