Go rafting on the Zambezi, and conquer the class 3 – 5 rapids of the river. The Zambezi is considered to be one of the best white water rafting rivers in the world. You can do a couple of rapids in a half day tour or if you have more time to spend you can do the full rafting tour or even make it into a multi day rafting experience, camping overnight on the shores of the river.
You start off with a briefing about the adventure you are going on, including the important safety briefing. Your guide is your rafting captain and one other guide is following you in a kayak to help out where needed.
You will pass through tranquil pools in between the rapid, allowing you to enjoy the beauty of the scenery of the Batoka Gorge.

1 DAY INTINERARY
We will pick you up from your hotel or lodge (within Livingstone Town) and drive you to the river. Here you will get outfitted with the best in whitewater equipment, high float personal flotaion devices (PFDS) helmets and given a paddle and you'll walk into the Batoka Gorge with your guides. Your trip leader will give you a full and comprehensive safety briefing and your guides will instruct you in the art of paddling as a team. Your safety kayaker will show you what to do if you fall out. We run small personal trips, so you won't be out with the crowds.
The day is fun filled from start to finish running rapids with such names as "Morning Glory, Stairway to Heaven, Midnight Diner, The Mother and Oblivion". We relax for a sumptuous floating lunch mid trip and we'll get to chat and your guide will point out points of interest along the way. On conclusion Here you'll get a soft drink and we'll drive back to town dropping you at your hotel at the conclusion of your day.
